After years of working with some of Colorado’s largest rafting centers, Highside president Johnny Cantamessa decided to start his own rafting company, one that would put guests first. The result was Highside Adventure Tours, a professional whitewater outfitter that cares about its guests and their experiences.
Today we own Good Times Rafting and together, we form the Colorado Adventure Center. We operate out of three historic base camps to offer raft, bike, kayak, horseback and fishing adventures.
Professionalism
All rafting guides go through intense training and are committed to high standards of professionalism. In addition, we use the most technically advanced outdoor gear including self-bailing rafts and kayaks, Type V personal flotation devices, front-suspension Trek mountain bikes and more.
All Highside guides are fully certified within the State of Colorado and maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications. Some hold Swiftwater Rescue and Wilderness First Aid certifications, while others have more extensive training as EMTs and Wilderness First Responders.
Because Highside Adventure Tours is a small company, we can provide you with the intimate service you deserve. We prepare hot, fresh meals for all our full- and multi-day trips. This does cost us more, but at Highside Adventure Tours we believe food is no place to cut costs. It is important to us that every one of our guests goes home with a lasting memory of their stay with us.
