With rides limited to groups of 10 guests. Gore Range Outfitters Inc. personalized 2 hour horseback ride is perfect for the beginner rider. This ride offers incredible pristine views. Often we see many elk and deer grazing in the distance. This is by far the most spectacular 2 hour horseback ride in Summit County.

Half Day Picnic Ride $109 Adult $99 Child (intermediate)

Let us take you to even more breathtaking scenery on our Half Day Wilderness ride. This ride enters either the Ptarmigan or Eagles Nest Wilderness areas. Wilderness areas are special areas designated by the USFS which are off limits to motorized vehicles, and offer extremely pristine lands. Come for a ride with GRO and experience the difference.

Full Day Ptarmigan Mountain $139.00 (int/adv)

Have you ever wanted to summit a Colorado peak like the locals do? Well here’s your chance. This incredible ride takes you atop Summit County’s famous Ptarmigan Mountain. Famous for its incredible wildflowers, views of the Gore and Ten Mile Ranges, and abundant wildlife sightings. Travel by horse to 11,300 ft. Summit County’s highest ride! After a short hike we serve up a great lunch and head down the mountain. This ride is for the intermediate rider who wants the most of a day of horseback riding in Colorado.

Full Day Horseback Ride Eagles Nest Wilderness $139.00 (int/adv)

This spectacular ride takes you to Salmon and Willow Lakes in the Gore Range from beautiful and private Ruby Ranch. Many locals have not even seen these lakes due to the remoteness of this trip. After we reach the lakes we will serve up a great Colorado- style backcountry lunch. Then you are free to hike, fish, or just relax for an hour or two before heading back to the Ranch. Due to the difficulty of this ride it is for the more adventurous rider only.

Full Day Horseback Ride Eagles Nest Wilderness w/ Fly-Fishing $259.00 (int/adv)

We start our ride from exclusive and private Ruby Ranch in Silverthorne to Salmon and Willow Lakes, with opportunities to stop along the way at Middle or North Willow Creek to do a little fishing. In these high lakes and streams see wild trout that have never been caught. We will be fishing for Colorado’s famous cutthroat and brook trout. On this trip sometimes the hardest thing is taking so many fish off the hook. The scenery while fishing can’t be beat. Come with us for this adventure of a lifetime in a day.

Overnight Pack Trip Summer Drop Camp $300.00 pp. per day (int)

Let us take you on an adventure many will never get to do. This is an overnight pack trip into the Eagles Nest Wilderness and White River National Forest. Spend one to three days in the wilderness while your guides do the cooking and guiding. We have picked out a prime location in The White River National Forest for our camp. From the camp enjoy fishing, hiking, or just relax and take photos. The hiking, fishing, and horseback riding that can be accessed from our camp can’t be beat. The meals are great too, food always tastes better in the woods, and you will have the use of horses for a day ride from the camp if you choose.
